美國(guó)歷史學(xué)會(huì)（AHA）成立于1884年，1889年被國(guó)會(huì)授予特許經(jīng)營(yíng)權(quán)，以服務(wù)于整個(gè)歷史學(xué)科?！睹绹?guó)歷史評(píng)論》（AHR）與AHA的使命一致，自1895年以來(lái)一直是美國(guó)歷史的專業(yè)性雜志。這是唯一將各個(gè)歷史研究領(lǐng)域的學(xué)術(shù)文章匯集出版的刊物。 該期刊每年出版約一千本書評(píng)，于每年二月、四月、六月、十月和十二月發(fā)行，致力于傳播當(dāng)代歷史研究成果。

本期的主要內(nèi)容是對(duì)“反猶太主義的重新思考”。在引言中，Jonathan Judaken調(diào)查了關(guān)于反猶太主義的理論和爭(zhēng)論。他對(duì)阻礙這一領(lǐng)域發(fā)展的因素提出了三個(gè)方面的觀察。首先，它缺乏對(duì)其核心概念和術(shù)語(yǔ)的一致定義。其次，反猶主義如何與伊斯蘭恐懼癥、反黑人種族主義和其他形式的壓迫相比較的問題還沒有解決。第三，反猶太主義的分期仍然模糊不清。他特別強(qiáng)調(diào)并反駁了永恒主義和目的論敘事，主張獨(dú)特性并為其辯護(hù)。
